LYST have been recognised for the support work they contribute to Deptford on Tuesday 12th July 2011. The award is for strategy and has been presented by the Deptford Challenge Trust.

Bob Austin was presented with the Enterprise Support Award at the Black Business awards ceremony. This was in recognition of the sterling work that LYST does with minority ethnic communities.

LYST was announced as a Bank of America Neighbourhood Builder. This was in recognition of the work LYST undertakes in supporting disadvantaged young people to help them become financially independent.

Thames Festival – September 2010 - Of the 19 businesses who exhibited, 5 were from Kennington, 3 fashion designers a filmmaker and a PR consultant. Feedback from all the businesses was good, they were glad they took the opportunity to promote themselves and although the event wasn’t just about sales on the day they were abel to secure future orders resulting in a £150 sale for one designer.

Pop Up Shop – Brixton Village Market - 4 Fashion businesses were given the opportunity to test trade in the most high profile area of the market, rent free for 3 weeks. Results were very good for the designers, they all sold clothing, menswear designer sold 8 shirts to one customer alone. All the designers said they benefited from direct contact with customers and being given the opportunity to experience running a shop and working as a team. Recent visitors to the market have been Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the High Commissioner of Jamaica.
