Emilie is a portrait and reportage photographer living in London.
She gained her BA Honors degree in Graphic Design at Kingston University, although her life long passion for photography allowed her to masterfully push the boundaries of the course, with her final show focusing on fashion photography.
Post student life Emilie worked as an assistant at The Roost studio in London, before becoming Dean Chalkley’s full time assistant, a position she proudly held for four years, until July 2008.
Her burgeoning freelance career has seen her undertaking a broad range of subjects and commissions. From shooting live for the NME, to studio and location portraiture, to traveling to India alongside World Vision for a charity project highlighting the lives of female sex workers.
