Nadine Coke, founder of La Belle Neri, is a British designer who embraced the concept of creating elaborate, sensuous, chic beachwear for the captivating woman and her love for travelling.
The inspirational journey of La Belle Neri began in the last year of her degree in Womenswear Pattern Cutting & Design Technology at the London College of Fashion. On the packed historical library shelves Nadine discovered a book based on Ancient African Ceremonies. She was instantly drawn to the vibrant colours, tribal attire, jewellery and craftsmanship with the yearning desire to express this through her very own swimwear. Picturesque vacations to the Caribbean, America & Europe have followed which served as an even greater influence to her creativity. Therefore La Belle Neri is a celebration of exuberance, sophistication and freedom.
Her extensive experience ranges from designing high society bridal wear to couture evening dresses. As a freelanced designer and pattern cutter she has worked for various luxury brands including managing her own bespoke service.
